Archery Course MOARHOF
The Moarhof Archery Course is located directly behind our house in the small village of Katharinaberg. The natural, hunting-style course is about 4 km long and currently includes 20 stations with up to three targets each, harmoniously integrated into the surrounding landscape. It offers a varied and exciting shooting experience for both young and old.
Throughout the entire course we deliberately avoided artificial backstops in order to provide our guests with a natural and authentic experience – a touch of the hunting feeling from Ötzi’s time. The famous Iceman lived in this valley around 5,000 years ago and had to face the challenges of this environment. Naturally this means: uphill, downhill – and sometimes using natural cover.
Let the beautiful and untouched vegetation surround you – among herbs, bushes and trees. Free “forest bathing” while practicing archery helps reduce the stress and time pressure of modern life and allows you to recharge your energy.

Before starting the course you can take a few practice shots at our small but well-equipped shooting range – afterwards the adventure continues out into nature.
The course itself is physically demanding to walk, but the shots are set in a very natural way. Even though the shooting distances are not particularly long, the course still offers a good challenge for visitors. Besides archery, you are welcome to relax on the comfortable wooden benches, enjoy the beautiful surroundings or have a small picnic. Sturdy footwear is highly recommended.

The rental shop is closed on Sundays and public holidays!
If you don’t immediately find someone at the farm, we kindly ask for your patience. Feel free to sit on the bench, relax, and enjoy the nature. We are most likely busy with one of our exciting tasks on the farm, but we will be with you as soon as possible.
